My Organism’s Name - Post 3

Scientific name: Albus superstes

Common name: Sheebear

Origin of the given name: I have decided to name my organism Albus superstes as the pond habitat of the Tundra biome experiences low temperature year round. Hence, it is vital for the organism to have adaptive features to survive in the harsh cold environment. As my organism has white fur to camouflage and blend in well with the surrounding snow to survive in the cold environment, I have decided to name my organism Albus superstes (in Latin) which means “white survivor”.
